Originally from Venezuela, Roberto moved to the United States at seventeen to pursue medicine. He attended the University of Mississippi for his undergraduate and now attends Ohio University for medical school. As part of his research year with the Marcu Lab he serves as a bridge between the medical and engineering realms to fortify the goals of the lab.
